A multi-platform PSA ad campaign that spotlights industrial elegance to highlight
the versatility of scrap metal and the importance of recycling it.
The subject of this piece is a small arrangement of roses, hand-made out of steel and copper by the artist of Argent Rose Studios. I crafted the arrangement with a variety of crafting wires to create vines and a sheet of perforated metal. The piece meant to look as if the roses grew from the pillar of metal itself. The image was shot by photographer Kailee Lessner in studio, while I acted as art director and photo stylist. The design was then crafted from there to look like a high-end magazine ad, a visual style I don’t often see for recycling campaigns.
